Teaching Rhythmic Independence employs rhythm patterns with progressive melodies to help students develop rhythmically. The Scale Duets books are a great way for your students to fall in love with playing scales. Even at the earliest stage of learning, your students will gain a great sense of musical accomplishment with these duets. The two volumes of Improving Ensemble Intonation use homophonic textures of chorales, hymn tunes, and carols to help students learn and hear how their part fits into the chord structure. Each tune has two harmonizations, the original and an altered one. Then students are asked to play them in several keys. This will help with understanding how finger patterns play a role in intonation. The Improving Ensemble Intonation series is also available for a full orchestra.
